Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor and control all established quality assurance standards. Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Coffee kiosk. Support the Deli Manager in the day-to-day functions of the kiosk operations. Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service. Responsibilities
  • Promote trust and respect among associates
  • Communicate company, department, and job-specific information to associates
  • Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to help achieve company/store goals
  • Assist in establishing performance goals for the department and empower associates to meet or exceed targets
  • Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume throughout hours of operation
  • Assist in training and developing associates on performance of their job and participate in the performance appraisal process
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws, and company guidelines
  • Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store
  • Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about
  • Provide quality beverages consistently for all customers
  • Create and prepare drinks for customers ensuring they meet Company standards
  • Display a positive attitude
  • Assist in developing and implementing a department business plan to achieve desired results
  • Assist in creating and executing sales promotions in partnership with store management
  • Inform and educate department associates about current, upcoming, and special in-store promotions especially promotions that affect the kiosk
  • Assist in implementing the promotional plan for the department
  • Stay current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads
  • Monitor and control expenses for the department
  • Maintain awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and note any discrepancies
  • Schedule daily, weekly, and monthly price changes by updating shelf tags and promotional signs
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising the inventory process
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identifying unsafe conditions
  • Report all safety risks, accidents, and illegal activities
  • Work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments
  • Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues
  • Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • Perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Current food handlers permit upon employment

Desired:

  • Management experience preferred
  • Second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing)
