Job description

Gopuff is seeking a Cafe Manager to join the Starbucks Operations team. We are looking for a self-starting and entrepreneurial leader. The Starbucks Cafe Manager role is an exciting and fast-paced position within Gopuff that requires drive, grit, positivity, and enthusiasm. In this role, you will lead a team of Lead Baristas and Baristas overseeing the Starbucks licensed store operations. You should have previous experience leading a team in a dynamic retail or hospitality environment, understanding your market, and identifying opportunities to drive store profitability and growth.

Ultimately, the success of the operation depends on your ability to execute and lead a team focused on delivering a perfect customer experience. We put our customers first.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all Starbucks operations, including deliveries, inventory management, and equipment maintenance, ensuring smooth functioning and optimal performance.
  • Drive improvements in KPIs such as Production Time, Order Defect Rate, and Cost Per Order. Train and coach staff to prioritize safety, adhere to procedures, and maintain productivity.
  • Ensure financial success by meeting budget targets for productivity, labor, and expenses, contributing to overall profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with Gopuff and legal regulations, analyzing reports to enforce policies and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor safety and HR compliance measures, ensuring personnel and product safety, and conducting quality assurance reviews.
  • Develop and execute action plans to enhance facility performance, providing guidance on company programs and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Create strategies to improve safety, foster a positive culture, and enhance financial performance.
  • Oversee store operations, ensuring coverage during shifts, peak times, and weekends to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Use data analysis and observations to make informed decisions, improving customer satisfaction and store performance.
  • Collaborate with leaders on labor management, forecasting, and scheduling.
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing new initiatives, supporting team development, and setting performance goals.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience; 1 year in QSR or cafe preferred.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in a sales-focused environment.
  • Proven leadership ability to coach and mentor teams with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in computer usage, email, and Google Suite.
  • Experience leading in a changing environment and improving processes.
