What You Will Do

• Prepare and serve Starbucks beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other menu items, according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Deliver friendly, attentive, and efficient customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and team members.
• Greet customers, take orders accurately, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations when appropriate.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process cash, credit card, and other payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, counters, display areas, and service spaces.
• Restock coffee, milk, syrups, cups, lids, food items, and other supplies to support smooth daily operations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, beverage preparation, and product handling guidelines.
• Monitor product freshness, check inventory levels, and communicate supply needs to management.
• Assist with food preparation and presentation of available bakery items and other menu offerings, as applicable.
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally while helping create a welcoming coffeehouse atmosphere.
• Work collaboratively with hotel and coffeehouse team members to maintain service quality during busy periods.
• Follow hotel policies, applicable Starbucks operating standards, and all relevant health and safety requirements.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous barista, coffee shop, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
• A friendly, positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing excellent guest service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and electronic payments accurately.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to beverage quality, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Willingness to learn beverage recipes, preparation techniques, and service procedures.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.
