The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent experience for our guests by maintaining product freshness, stock levels, accuracy in pricing and signage on the sales floor. They are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, leading food and beverage processes including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, and promotional signing across the store.

• Providing a consistent Starbucks experience by managing product quality and freshness
• Adhering to and maintaining food safety and OSHA guidelines

Typical Responsibilities

As a Starbucks Barista, your day may include:

• Delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operation, prioritizing guest needs
• Maintaining Food & Beverage standards
• Executing food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, inventory routines, and organization
• Staying informed about current and upcoming promotions
• Following routines to ensure a consistent guest experience and food safety
• Supporting Drive Up orders to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and timely
• Maintaining an inviting dining area
• Engaging with guests to meet and exceed expectations
• Producing beverages and food to recipe specifications
• Following all food safety requirements, including temperature monitoring and recording
• Completing cleaning tasks and managing inventory accurately
• Using store tools and technology to resolve guest issues and enhance their experience
• Completing training and certifications related to product quality control
• Demonstrating ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Working safely, reporting hazards, and supporting guest services such as cashiering and order pickup
• Creating a welcoming environment through greetings and engagement
• Performing other duties as needed
