Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.50 USD per hour

Effective, 05/18/2025 to 09/06/2025, all team members will be eligible to receive a temporary additional $1 added to their base pay.

ALL ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE

The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent experience for our guests by maintaining product freshness, stock availability, accurate pricing, and signage on the sales floor. They are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, leading food and beverage processes including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, and promotional signing across all Food and Beverage areas.

As a Starbucks Barista at Target, you will gain valuable skills and experiences, including:

• Providing a consistent Starbucks experience by managing food quality and freshness
• Following state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines

Typical responsibilities include:

• Delivering an exceptional guest experience by offering a fresh and abundant shopping environment, prioritizing guest needs
• Upholding Food & Beverage standards and executing related processes such as deliveries, replenishment, and inventory management
• Supporting digital order fulfillment and maintaining a welcoming dining area
• Engaging with guests to exceed expectations and produce handcrafted beverages and food
• Following all food safety and cleanliness protocols
• Managing inventory, including ordering and recording
• Participating in training and certifications related to product quality and safety
• Maintaining a safe work environment and complying with safety policies
• Supporting guest services such as cashiering, order pickup, and drive-up services, including compliance with beverage laws
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere through greeting and engaging with guests
• Performing other duties as needed based on business requirements

Ideal candidates are:

• Enthusiastic about helping others and working as part of a team
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment requiring teamwork, flexibility, and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred skills include previous Starbucks or food service experience, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Additional requirements include physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds, work in varying temperatures, and maintain mobility during shifts.
