The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available, and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process, and efficiency.

ROLE OF A STARBUCKS BARISTA

The role of a Starbucks Barista can provide you with:

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture in Starbucks
• Ability to provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted Starbucks’ products
• Experience with food quality and freshness management
• Knowledge of state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines

Responsibilities:

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests to deliver quality handcrafted beverages and food
• Uphold and maintain the execution of Food and Beverage Standards and all Starbucks’ brand standards
• Execute food and beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, and cleaning
• Maintain an inviting dining area for guests
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations
• Complete all required Starbucks trainings related to quality control
• Work in a safe manner at all times
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick-up
• All other duties based on business needs

BASIC EXPECTATIONS

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb up and down ladders

• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) necessary
• Ability to work in an environment that could range from 34°F to -10°F
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
