Job description

Gopuff is seeking a Barista for our Starbucks Operations team. As a Starbucks barista, you’ll create the Starbucks Experience for our customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products. You’ll work in an energetic store environment, mastering your food & beverage craft. This unique delivery-only Starbucks cafe focuses on speed and quality to provide the best experience to each customer.

The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! Working in a fast-paced cafe, your weekly tasks will include:

1. Delivering exceptional customer service by creating quality handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operation.
2. Upholding Gopuff standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards.
3. Executing cafe processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, and cleaning.
4. Maintaining awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks.
5. Following routines to ensure a consistent Starbucks experience while driving efficiency and food safety.
6. Producing items according to specifications and following department routines.
7. Monitoring and recording temperature-sensitive food items.
8. Completing and recording cleaning tasks as outlined.
9. Following packaging and labeling guidelines for food products.
10. Adhering to food safety requirements.
11. Completing all required Starbucks trainings.
12. Demonstrating ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
13. Working safely, identifying hazards, and complying with safety policies.
14. Performing other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Availability may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
2. Previous Starbucks or food service experience is preferred but not required.
3. Welcoming and helpful attitude towards new team members.
4. Ability to learn and adapt to current technology.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team.
6. Focus on quality and pride in work.
7. Attention to detail and following multi-step processes.

Pay: $16.95/hr
