Starbucks Barista

Position Objective: To contribute to Cosentino’s and Starbucks' success by creating and maintaining the Starbucks Experience for our customers.

Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Starbucks Manager.

Status: Non-exempt position.

Knowledge

Essential Knowledge

  • A food handling permit must be obtained within the first 14 days of employment.
  • Completion of ongoing training as listed on the Cosentino Learning Plan.

Non-Essential Knowledge

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

  • Implement Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards.
  • Deliver legendary customer service with a "customer comes first" attitude.
  • Promote a positive team atmosphere with cooperation, high morale, and positive communication.
  • Manage multiple situations effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prepare and price products accurately for sale.

  • Stand and walk for long periods on hard surfaces.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 32 lbs.
  • Bend, squat, and work in cooler conditions.

  • Climb a ladder up to 5 ft.
