Odysea Aquarium in Scottsdale is seeking a part-time Starbucks barista to create the Starbucks Experience for guests through excellent service and craft beverages. You will be part of an energetic team, mastering coffee and food offerings while connecting with guests daily.

• Engage with and understand our guests, including discovering and responding to guest needs through clear and pleasant communication.
• Prepare beverages to standard recipes or customized for guests, including recipe changes such as temperature or ingredient substitutions.
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Starbucks barista, you’ll create the Starbucks Experience for Odysea Aquarium guests through excellent service and expertly crafted products. You’ll be in an energetic environment where you’ll have the ability to master your food & beverage craft, work alongside friends and meet new people every day. A cup of coffee and a smile can go a long way, and we believe our baristas have the power to be the best moment in each guest’s day. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.

PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

• In good health and capable of performing strenuous and/or heavy physical labor.
• No history of allergy-related to animals or plants, which might interfere with the ability to work.
• The employee must be able to occasionally lift or move, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods, as well as walk.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
