Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Spaceport Designer, Architect for the Starbase Development team. You will design residential, commercial, and industrial projects that support rapid Starship production and directly manage design from concept through execution on site in Starbase, Texas.

Collaborate with elite architects, engineers, and construction managers across disciplines. Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in architecture or related design field, 2+ years of architectural design, and Revit proficiency;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, architectural engineering, or similar design field.
• Minimum 2+ years of architectural design experience.
• Proficiency with Revit software.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage architectural projects from concept through execution.
• Produce 3D renders and visualizations for design reviews.
• Coordinate with engineers for MEP, network, and life-safety systems.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and specs for bid, permit, and construction documents.
• Write and manage design contracts with subcontractors.
