Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Internal Fleet Driver (Starship) to support loading, driving, and unloading at Starbase. You will move flight, non-flight, fabrication, and tooling items between SpaceX sites and ensure safe, timely deliveries.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A, 2+ years commercial driving, 1+ years forklift experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll work in a high-volume manufacturing setting with strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of professional commercial driving experience.
• 1+ years of professional forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Support loading, driving, and unloading of flight, non-flight, fabrication, and tooling items between SpaceX sites at Starbase
• Safely load trucks at pickup points and transport truckloads to the destination following the rules of the road at all times
• Safely load and unload trucks at designated drop-off points
• Responsible for ensuring truckload contents are secure for safe and undamaged delivery to the destination
• Responsible for scanning barcodes, meeting business WMS requirements
• Review all documentation for the correct items to be delivered, as well as the precise delivery area
• Maintain all applicable documents (paperwork) related to items being delivered to ensure they are not damaged during delivery
• Monitor service records of the vehicle when driving and report all problems to the manager immediately
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle and refueling when low
• In case of an emergency, contact the immediate supervisor and provide detailed information to remedy the issue
