Ryder System, Inc. is hiring Standup Reach Truck Operators in Elwood, IL. The role involves operating standup reach forklifts in a clean, safe warehouse and supporting fulfillment across the US.

Earn $20.00 per hour with weekly pay, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO accrue from day one, and a company match. The schedule runs Monday–Friday with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player in a diverse environment.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Accurate under pressure.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing system during production hours.
• Perform duties within contract performance guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
