Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a Distribution Associate II for the Orlando, FL area to support warehouse distribution on a 1st shift. The role emphasizes forklift operation, shipping and receiving, and accurate material handling.

This contract position runs 5:00am to 1:30pm with pre-employment screening. Standup forklift is preferred; duties include receiving, verifying, packing, and documentation of shipments, and coordinating material routes within the warehouse.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment such as forklift.
• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
• Receive goods, verify items against the record of shipment, and inspect condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation method.
• Route materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation.
