Job summary

OSI Industries, LLC is seeking a Standing Forklift Operator for the Shipping 2nd shift in West Chicago, IL. The role moves materials between production, storage, and docks using a riding pallet jack or forklift, supporting receiving and shipping operations.

Qualifications

• Work can be performed within a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people and conveyor.
• Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Position may require standing/walking for greater than 4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and policies; wear protective equipment as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description

This role is responsible for moving raw materials and finished product between the production areas, storage and docks using a riding pallet jack or forklift.

Job Responsibilities

• Job is an individual contributor.

• Complies with facility and organizational policies governing workplace conduct, workplace safety, food safety, good manufacturing practices and any other operational policies as established.
• This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills

Compensation/Benefits We are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 to $21.50 per hour. The final hourly rate offered will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market considerations.
