Job summary

Waukesha Pearce Industries Llc is seeking a Generator Tech Class B to perform PM maintenance and minor repairs on standby generators. You will read wiring schematics and learn to perform load bank testing, with daily service reporting and on-site support.

The role requires 1 year of experience, a GED/HS diploma, and the ability to work with others. Candidates should be mechanically/electrically inclined and willing to train further with WPIs programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of generator maintenance experience.
• Able to read simple wiring schematics and troubleshoot.
• Willing to learn and work with others; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repairs on generators and controls.
• Completes service reports daily and maintains logs.
• Attends training and drills to expand product knowledge.
• Performs weekly truck inspections and safety checks.
• Fills out JSA forms on every job and follows safety rules.
