Generator Supercenter, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our installation and service teams in Pawling, NY.

You will wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment, ensuring safe, code-compliant installations and reliable troubleshooting for residential and light commercial applications. The role requires a valid Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license, 2+ years of experience, and NEC knowledge.

Formación

• Valid Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of residential or light commercial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code).
• AC and DC electrical experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panels.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
• Install electrical components for generator systems including ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches).
• Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare generator sites, including trenching, piping, and setting mechanical components.
• Conduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systems.
• Use electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure all installations meet local and national electrical codes.
