Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator (Stand-Up Forklift) for the 2nd shift at our Humble, Texas facility. The role requires operating a high-rack, narrow-aisle warehouse and supporting receiving, storing, staging, and loading finished products while maintaining inventory accuracy and GMP compliance.

Temperature ranges from -10F to 100F; duties include cycle counts, RF scanner use, and adherence to FIFO and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience working in freezer or cold-storage environments.
• Experience with inventory systems / WMS.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environments.
• Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Ability to operate RF scanners / handheld devices.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Familiarity with FIFO inventory practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach truck in high-rack, narrow-aisle warehouse.
• Receive, store, stage and load finished products with accuracy.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and follow GMP and safety procedures.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory as needed.
• Use RF scanners and handheld devices for transactions.
• Ensure proper pallet conditions and lot/item documentation.
• Follow FIFO practices and load/unload trailers as required.
• Report damages or discrepancies to supervision promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with company policies.
