Job summary

Sunset in Livonia, MI, is hiring stand-up Hi-Lo drivers for a 400,000 sq ft refrigerated distribution center operating 24/7. The role features 12-hour shifts with day and night schedules, a 3/4 work week, and weekly pay. Pay rate is $18/hour, with benefits including 401K and PTO.

You will work in a refrigerated environment and pass an onsite driving test. Responsibilities include operating the stand-up Hi-Lo, following packaging specs, utilizing the WMS, and ensuring food safety traceability.

Qualifications

• Operate a stand-up Hi-Lo safely in a refrigerated warehouse.
• Know how to use WMS for picking and sorting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an Electric Stand-up Hi-Lo to move produce in the warehouse.
• Follow packaging specs to ensure safe passage of product.
• Utilize WMS to pick, load, inspect and sort as directed.
• Tag paperwork accurately to ensure pallet traceability.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in clean, safe condition.
• Report product quality issues to supervisor.
• Operate barcode scanners and assist in line movements.
• Keep warehouse clean throughout the day.
• Read and understand daily work instructions and procedures.

Job description

The Livonia Distribution Center, a 400,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7; is currently seekingStand Up Hi-Lo Drivers to join our team!

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Full time shifts: Days and Nights, 12-hour shifts; 3 / 4 work week; equivalent to working 14 days/month.

Receiving Department

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Safely operate an Electric Stand-up Hi-Lo to maintain the flow of produce inventory in the warehouse.
• Follow the Mastronardi Packaging Specs and requirements to ensure safe passage of produce to destination.
• Utilize our WMS to properly select, load, inspect and sort product per supervisors’ instructions and guidance.
• Perform basic tag and paperwork functions with high accuracy to ensure integrity of pallet movement and food safety traceability.
• Ensure all equipment and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly fashion.
• Report any product quality issues immediately to the supervisor.
• Operate barcode scanner
• Maintain the general clean-up of the warehouse throughout the day.
• Ability to read and understand daily work instructions and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of at least 6 months operating a Stand-up Hilo OR one year operating a Sit-down Hilo
• Must Pass Onsite Hilo Driving Test
• Ability to work in our refrigerated warehouse, 50-degree controlled temperature zones.
• Stand, walk, bend continuously during majority of 12hr shift.
• Lift up to 30 lbs. repetitively.
• Complete a background and drug screening.
• Possess Valid Driver’s License or Current Eye Exam (within the last year)
