Job summary

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring experienced Stand Up Forklift Operators to support our distribution center located in Oswego, IL. You will load, unload, and transport full pallets of product while safely operating material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of sit down forklift or sit down clamp experience required.
• Punctuality with a demonstrated attendance record.
• Experience working in a team oriented environment.
• Knowledge of various material-handling equipment
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
• Safety-focused work ethic
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift inspections of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Safely operate an electric stand up forklift to load, unload, and transport full pallets of product.
• Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory and orders.
• Visually inspect pallets and product for quality defects.
• Work as part of a team to follow all warehouse SOPs, and improve operations.
• Fill in on other areas of the warehouse as required.
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace.
• Other duties as assigned.
