Job summary

Randstad is seeking hands-on stand up forklift operators to support all phases of material movement in our Aurora, IL warehouse. You will handle pallet retrieval, putaway, and bulk transfers between floor and finished goods areas, maintaining safe handling and accurate wrapping as you move loads.

Qualifications

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the stand up forklift to retrieve incoming pallets from the staging lanes and move them directly into assigned storage locations (putaway).
• Assist in the transfer of large, bulk materials or completed product loads between the manufacturing/processing floor and the finished goods warehouse.
• Ensure all pallets being moved are inspected for stability and correct wrapping before transport, using the forklift to maintain control of the load.
• Perform routine daily tasks as directed by the floor supervisor, which may include sweeping, area cleanup, and general organization when equipment is not in use.
• Report any equipment damage, system failures, or safety concerns immediately to the maintenance team.

Be ready to be in a colder environment but also room temperature at times! Shirts or t‑shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Steel toe shoes required.
