Economy Cash & Carry Inc. in El Paso, TX is hiring for a Full Time Graveyard warehouse role at the Zaragoza Store to pick, pack, and ship supplies for local and international customers.

This position offers hourly pay and the opportunity to operate a forklift in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. The role requires one year of related experience, a current forklift certification for a stand-up 3500 lb forklift, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
• Current forklift certification for stand-up forklift 3500 lbs.
• Bilingual preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports incoming and outgoing merchandise to designated areas using handheld devices, forklift or pallet jack.
• Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing merchandise and records as required.
• Sorts and places merchandise on racks or bins; replenishes from reserves as needed.
• Accurately picks and packs customer orders.
• Removes damaged merchandise and segregates it accordingly.
• Maintains proper rotation of merchandise and a clean dock.
• Adheres to safety requirements and PPE usage.
• Performs administrative tasks and prepares reports as needed.
• Assists customers and provides excellent service.

What we are looking for

Motivated individual who provides outstanding customer service by picking, packing, and shipping supplies and merchandise to local and international customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks merchandise.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Under direction of supervisor, safely transports incoming and outgoing merchandise to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to handheld device, forklift, and/or electric pallet jack.
• Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing merchandise. Ensure merchandise is recorded correctly.
• Safely sorts and places merchandise on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures. Replenishes merchandise from reserves as needed.
• Accurately picks and packs customer orders as needed.
• Removes damaged merchandise and places it in its designated area.
• Maintains proper rotation of merchandise.
• Always keep safety a priority, to include pedestrian traffic and forklift operation.
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE, examples: Safety Belt, High Visibility Vest).
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment, to include maintaining a clean dock and clean aisles.
• Participates in quality improvement efforts.
• Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
• Assists customers as needed. Provides excellent customer service.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
