Job summary

Porter Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to join a fast-paced, close-knit team in Atlanta. You will load, unload, sort, and transport products across a high-volume operation, using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, cherry picker, and reach equipment.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of forklift experience, familiarity with palletized handling, RF scanning, and strong safety awareness. Growth within a dynamic, hands-on environment is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of forklift experience.
• Experience in 3PL or logistics is preferred.
• Familiarity with palletized handling and transport.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload palletized products from containers and trailers using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Transport and store product in designated locations.
• Retrieve and pick orders from storage locations according to lists.
• Safely load products onto trailers and containers for outbound shipments.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow safety regulations and company SOPs.
• Identify and report damage, equipment issues, or process concerns promptly.
