Position Summary

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for performing various duties in the warehouse in a fast-paced lean environment, including receiving and put-away of all inbound receipts, shipping, and picking of products to support plant operations. Maintain inventory accuracy, monitor coolers/freezer temperatures, and keep the warehouse area organized. Must have stand-up forklift and RF scan gun experience.

Shift Schedule

Friday - Sunday, 4:00AM - 5:30PM

Compensation

$18/hr

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload freight using appropriate equipment
• Operate stand-up forklift
• Use mobile devices for tracking shipments
• Safely climb in and out of trailers
• Lift freight up to 50 lbs.
• Secure freight inside trailers
• Work safely in cold conditions
• Complete documentation and reports
• Follow safety policies
• Communicate with co-workers and supervisors

Requirements

• 2-4 years forklift experience
• Stand-up forklift experience
• At least 18 years old
• Fluent in English
• Basic math skills

Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Use hands to operate objects
• Stand, communicate, listen
• Walk, kneel, crouch occasionally
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform in variable temperatures
