Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Minster, Ohio is seeking a Stand-Up Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our warehouse team. You will work in a clean, organized environment handling yogurt products with stand-up forklifts and contribute to safe, efficient distribution.

Compensation includes weekly pay, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and incentives up to $10 per hour extra. Flexible day shifts and 44-55 hours per week are available to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year+ related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Able to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hour of production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
