Job summary

Aerotek in Perris, CA is hiring a Stand-Up Forklift Operator (Crown Reach Truck) for a food distribution warehouse. You will operate a stand-up reach Crown forklift, load and unload, pick, stage, and move products while following safety procedures and SOPs.

The role requires RF scanner use, attention to detail, and willingness to work 10–12 hour shifts on a contract-to-hire basis. Pay ranges from $20.00–$20.75 per hour with benefits upon eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a stand-up reach Crown forklift with 36 months of recent experience.
• Experience using RF scanners to manage and track inventory movements.
• Ability to perform inventory counts, stock checks, and basic cycle counting.
• Ability to work 10–12 hour shifts as required by operational needs.
• Strong attention to detail on quantities, item descriptions, brands, and lot codes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up reach Crown forklift to load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products.
• Follow specific work instructions and best practices to complete all daily assignments safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Use RF scanners to locate, move, and record inventory within the distribution center.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and verify that each pallet or case has the correct quantities, items, brands, and lot codes.
• Identify and report problems, concerns, and ideas to leadership, including suggestions for process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area at all times.
• Help maintain the security of the warehouse by following all safety and security procedures.
• Conduct all operations in a manner that promotes safety for yourself and others.
• Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
