Responsibilities include moving materials, logging weights with RF, performing routine inspections, and coordinating with drivers to ensure efficient loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand and follow workplace instructions in English.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work in varying temperature environments including cold storage and warm areas.
• Flexibility to work additional hours or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move, load, and unload products and materials.
• Position forks or lifting devices under, over, or around pallets, skids, and other materials for transport.
• Transfer materials to designated locations within the facility.
• Utilize a RF system to record weights, counts, and condition of products (including frozen goods).
• Complete daily forklift inspections and maintenance checklists.
• Perform safety checks, including trailer chocking and glad-hand procedures.
• Communicate with truck drivers to ensure safe loading and unloading practices.
• Monitor battery levels, maintain and clean batteries, and return equipment to charging stations.
