Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking several Forklift Operators for rotating 12-hour shifts in Ames, IA. The role is temporary-to-hire with starting pay at $23.00 per hour and a rotating schedule from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Duties include operating a stand-up forklift, using a handheld scanner, moving products to the warehouse, and loading trailers. Candidates should live within 15–20 minutes of Ames and have at least 6 months forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months stand up forklift experience.
• Must live within 15–20 minutes of Ames.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, safely.
• No smoking on the premises (Not in your car or on-site).

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up, battery powered forklift (95% of shift).
• Utilize a handheld scanner to locate products.
• Take finished products to the warehouse and place on racking system.
• Load products from the warehouse into a semi-trailer.
