Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing's client in Ames, Iowa is seeking several qualified Forklift Operators for temporary-to-hire positions. Two shifts are available: 7:00am-7:00pm and 7:00pm-7:00am, with pay of $23.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift incentive, totaling $24.00/hour.

Duties include operating a stand-up battery-powered forklift (occasional sit-down), using a handheld scanner, moving finished products to racks, and loading pallets into semi-trailers.

Qualifications

• Must live within 15-20 minutes of Ames.
• Minimum 90 days stand up forklift experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, safely.
• No smoking on the premises.

Job description

Our client is looking for several qualified Forklift Operators.These are Temporary-To-Hire positions and located in Ames, Iowa.

Hours:

7:00am-7:00pm $23.00/ Hour.

7:00pm-7:00am $23.00/ Hour, Pay:$23.00 + $1.00 shift incentive = $24.00 / Hour

(rotating Schedule)(30 minutes unpaid break & 3X15 min paid breaks)Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday

Duties:

1. Primarily operating a stand up, battery powered Forklift, but also occasional sit down forklifts.Utilizing a had held scanner to locate products.
2. Taking finished products to the warehouse and putting on racking system.
3. Taking products form the warehouse and loading them into a semi-trailer.

Requirements:

Must live within 15-20 minutes of Ames

Minimum 90 days stand up forklift.

Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, safely.

NO smoking on the premises (Not in your car or on-site, you may leave during your 30-minute break, but NOT the 15-minute breaks).
