Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics in Huntsville, AL is hiring a Forklift Operator – Stand-Up to move materials safely across the warehouse. You will operate stand-up forklifts, load/unload trucks, inspect goods, and support daily material flow following strict safety procedures.

This full-time role requires at least 1 year of forklift experience, ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-3-2 rotation (day or night), and compliance with training and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a stand-up forklift with reverse steering.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Must pass forklift training and company certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift equipment with reverse steering safely and efficiently
• Transport materials from loading docks to designated warehouse or storage locations
• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, platforms, and storage areas
• Position lifting devices under, over, or around pallets, skids, or containers to move products safely
• Inspect products for damage and verify accuracy using scanning systems or manual processes
• Perform daily inspection and documentation of forklift equipment
• Follow standard work procedures, safety rules, and operational guidelines at all times
• Support material flow between receiving, processing, and storage areas
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs
