Job description

Join to apply for the Stand up Forklift Operator role at Lineage.

Pay: $21/hr. (extra $1/Hr. shift differential starting at 7PM *after 90 days)

Shifts:

• 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 2:30PM-11:00PM
• 1st shift: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM

Use electric-powered industrial trucks with lifting devices to move products, equipment, and materials while following all safety standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform, or other devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, transport, load, and unload to designated areas.
• Record weight, counts, and condition of frozen food items via RF system.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand process.
• Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions.
• Monitor, maintain, and clean batteries; leave equipment at proper charging stations.

Additional Duties

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C or up to 100°F/37°C while wearing PPE and freezer gear.
• Must lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs; weight may vary by facility.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with various noise levels.

Pay Range: $15.43 - $26.06
