Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Austin, TX is seeking a Material Handler for a stand-up forklift role. You will load trucks, read load charts, and process receiving paperwork on a first shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with a starting pay of 18.55 USD per hour.

The position requires basic math, English proficiency, and forklift certification, with opportunities to grow within a consumer foods company. The job emphasizes strict adherence to safety and quality standards, including GMPs, SOPs, and USDA/FDA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills required; must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Requires 6 months of material handling in a warehouse environment; previous inventory control experience desirable (SAP, etc).

Responsibilities

• Loads trucks accurately within prescribed timelines, as per load charts.
• Must be able to read load charts and bill of lading.
• Completes paperwork timely and accurately, including Bill of Lading (BOL) Sales Orders and Pre-load Inspection forms.
• Performs product consolidations and BIN transfers, using forklift when required.
• Operates stand-up forklift in safe manner; completes forklift inspections and check-sheets before using forklift.
• Performs scheduled and impromptu inventory cycle counts.
• Follows all Company rules, including SOPs, GMPs, Safety, PPE, and all rules prescribed by the USDA and FDA.
• Performs other related duties and special assignments as required or assigned by Supervisor.
