Position: Stand Lead

Department: Concessions

Reports to: Concessions Manager

Pay Rate: $18.50/Hour

Job Summary

Join Levy Restaurants at Soldier Field as a Stand Lead in Concessions, where you’ll oversee the operations of concession stands, providing excellent service to guests during Chicago Bears games, Chicago Fire matches, concerts, and other large-scale events.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure assigned stand(s) produce the correct quantity and at a high quality.
2. Supervise and support team members at assigned concession stands, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
3. Manage inventory, restock supplies, and monitor food and beverage quality throughout the event.
4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
5. Assist with team member training and provide guidance to maintain a high standard of service.
6. Handle point-of-sale operations, monitor transactions, and resolve guest concerns in a professional manner.
7. Communicate with supervisors and management to address operational needs, staffing issues, or supply shortages during events.
8. Ensure, conduct and assist with proper cleaning procedures pre-event, during events, and post-event.
9. Complete all required paperwork correctly and in a timely manner.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Must be 21 years of age or older.
2. Must hold a current ServSafe Food Handling Certification, ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Illinois BASSET Liquor License.
3. Proficient and knowledgeable in all Concession stand positions and ability to work any position.
4. Previous leadership experience in concessions, hospitality, or food service is preferred.
5. Strong attention to detail, organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
7. Basic understanding on how to operate Concession equipment (Steamer, Pretzel warmer, hot box, pizza oven, etc.)
