Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering required or equivalent.
• 5+ years in stamping tooling construction, tryout, and die rework.
• Experience supporting tooling changes after construction release.
• Familiarity with tooling budgets and cost tracking processes.
• Understanding of engineering change implementation.
• Experience with STS-like standards and structured processes.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

We are seeking an experienced stamping tooling professional to support post‑sourcing tooling execution and financial performance. This role focuses on tracking tooling changes, die rework, and engineering updates while maintaining alignment with approved tooling budgets and STS operating standards.

STS (Stamping Tooling Specialist) standards define the processes, quality expectations, and execution discipline required to support successful tooling delivery and launch readiness.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical stamping tooling expertise and business acumen, ensuring changes are executed efficiently and tooling investments are tracked and controlled.

The Stamping Tooling Program Specialist supports the financial tracking and execution of stamping tooling following construction release. This role ensures engineering changes, product updates, and die rework activities are implemented in accordance with timing, quality, and cost objectives.

Working within established Stamping Tooling Specialist (STS) processes and tooling standards, this position monitors tooling spend, supports supplier execution, and contributes to performance metric development.

• Bachelors of Engineering (pref Mechnical, Industrial or Electrical)
• 5+ years in stamping tooling construction, tryout, and die rework processes.
• Experience supporting tooling changes following construction release.
• Familiarity with tooling budgets and cost tracking processes.
• Understanding of engineering change implementation.
• Experience working within structured processes and standards (STS or similar).
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

This position is a salary grade 5 and ranges from $63,480-106,680.

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
