Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Jamestown, IN is seeking a production associate to unload steel parts from production machines, stack and organize parts, and package finished pieces as needed.

You will work in a very fast-paced environment, standing for full 12-hour shifts and following strict PPE safety rules. The role includes learning to handle parts of varying sizes while maintaining a high level of productivity.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and repeatedly handle up to 35 lbs.
• Comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting and stacking motions quickly and consistently.
• Ability to handle parts of various sizes and shapes, including awkward or oversized pieces.
• Must be able to stand and work on your feet for a full 12-hour shift.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must be able to consistently wear required protective gloves and PPE when handling steel parts.
• Strong attention to safety and ability to maintain productivity while working at a fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fast production pace, with some machines producing approximately 23 parts per minute.
