Van-Am Tool & Engineering is hiring Press Room Operators to join our manufacturing team in St. Joseph, Missouri. No prior press room experience is required, as on-the-job training is provided to motivated individuals focused on safety and quality.

We are AS9100-certified and serve aerospace, defense, and commercial industries. Shifts include Day and Weekend options with competitive pay and benefits. This is a path to build a career in manufacturing in a stable, growing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping press equipment according to established work instructions.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts during production runs.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and consistency.
• Follow production instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Package, stack, and move finished parts to designated locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards promptly.
• Support additional production activities and cross-training opportunities as needed.
