Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) in Defiance, Ohio seeks a reliable production teammate to safely follow procedures, inspect parts with quality tools, and enter part data into the ERP system. You will load, set up, and operate stamping equipment while maintaining press uptime and adhering to LOTO guidelines.

Ideal candidates read blueprints or standards, communicate clearly, and demonstrate basic math and computer skills. This role is on-site in Defiance with daily attendance expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment.
• Proficient in basic math and computer skills.
• LOTO certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Come to work every day, on time as scheduled.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts. Examine parts to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product quality.
• Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system.
• Load, setup, operate stamping equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and repair and setup to keep stamping press running smoothly and reduce downtime.
• Execute scheduling board.
• Ability to use motorized walking stacker.
• Follow Lock out Tag Out procedures when applicable.
