Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. in Defiance, Ohio is seeking a stamping operator to join our manufacturing team. You will follow safety procedures, read specifications, and operate stamping equipment to produce quality parts.

Duties include entering part data into the ERP system, performing basic preventative maintenance, and ensuring parts meet all specifications. A motorized walking stacker may be used, and LOTO compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment.
• Proficient and basic math and computer skills.
• LOTO certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Come to work every day, on time as scheduled.
• Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts. Examine parts to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product quality.
• Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system.
• Load, setup, operate stamping equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and repair and setup to keep stamping press running smoothly and reduce downtime.
• Ability to use motorized walking stacker.
• Follow Lock out Tag Out procedures when applicable.
