Job summary

Jefferson Southern Corporation is seeking a Stamping Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift at our Rockmart, GA facility. You will follow all JSC rules, ensure safety, perform 5S, and respond quickly to production downtime with countermeasures.

You will monitor lines, conduct root-cause analysis on downtime items, and support QA during investigations. Responsibilities include identifying spare parts, performing preventative maintenance, repairing defects, and assisting engineering with new

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2-5 years maintenance experience.
• Welding and PLC experience required.
• Job Specific Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all JSC rules and procedures.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Perform 5S activities.
• Respond to production D/T calls immediately and counter measure effectively.
• Monitor lines to identify items that may cause downtime.
• Perform Root cause analysis on top D/T items and implement countermeasures.
• Monitor lines to ensure countermeasures are effective.
• Identify needed spare parts and critical spares as needed.
• Perform PM tasks and repair defects.
• Perform Root Cause analysis for any quality related incident and provide countermeasure.
• Support engineering with new equipment setup trials.
• Communicate existing equipment failures with Team Leader and Assistant Manager.
• Support QA during Quality incident investigation and countermeasure.
• Perform cost reduction activities to reduce overall operating costs.

Description

Role and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree (AS) from an accredited Technical School; or one to two years of related technical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
