Job summary

Anomatic Corporation in Newark, Ohio, is seeking a production floor operator in the Stamping department to run presses, load aluminum, and ensure quality parts are produced at a steady rate. A clean, safe work environment is expected at all times.

The role involves monitoring presses, performing gauging, documenting production, and maintaining safety standards. Shift is 3rd: Sunday - Thursday, 10pm - 6:30am, with opportunities for overtime and growth within the plant.

Qualifications

• Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division is required.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Wear prescribed safety equipment at all times (safety boots, eye and ear protection).
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and make good judgments.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to accurately use measuring tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate presses and scrap unit to ensure efficient production and quality.
• Load and unload aluminum to presses as required.
• Check press lubrication levels and adjust as needed.
• Perform gauging and document production per QA specifications.
• Quarantine or scrap non-conforming parts and coordinate with QC staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
