Job summary

Materion Corporation in United States is seeking a stamper who will operate stamping machines under the direction of the Production Supervisor, performing first piece and end-of-run inspections to ensure parts meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include checking tooling and materials against customer requirements, locating and troubleshooting tooling, and maintaining safe operation of stamping equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to use all measuring equipment needed for first piece and end-run inspections.
• Must be mechanically inclined to understand the fundamentals of stamping machine and die operations.
• General Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for checking tooling and material to ensure they match the customer requirements.
• Locate and troubleshoot tooling used to process orders per customer requirements.
• Responsible for first piece inspection to ensure that the parts meet the customer specifications.
• Responsible for end run inspection of parts to ensure produced parts meet customer requirements.
• Responsible for the safe operation of all stamping machines and tools used in the stamping areas.
