Job description

Now hiring Stamp Operators for a company in Painesville for 1st shift, 7am – 3:30pm.

The Stamp Operator is responsible for operating stamping machines and related equipment to produce metal components.

Job Duties

• Set up, operate and monitor stamping machines (e.g., modular dies, 4-post dies).
• Load raw materials (metal strips, coils) and ensure proper alignment, feed, and tooling for efficient stamping.
• Inspect stamped parts for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform routine checks, make adjustments, and document production parameters.
• Remove and dispose of scrap material and maintain cleanliness of stamping area.
• Maintain accurate production records (quantity, downtime, rework) and communicate with supervisor regarding schedule adherence or quality concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
