Job summary

Freeborn Mower Electric Cooperative in Albert Lea, MN seeks a Staking Technician to design and stake new construction, prepare work orders and permits, and ensure designs meet RUS and NESC standards. You will work with members, landowners, electricians, and officials to secure easements and support project planning.

Qualifications include an associate’s degree or 6+ years of line construction experience and a valid Class D driver's license. Competitive pay and full benefits offered.

• Ability to design and stake new construction projects meeting RUS and NESC standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and stake new construction projects.
• Prepare work orders and permits.
• Coordinate with members, landowners, electricians and officials; secure easements and provide service guidance.
• Assist with inspections and determine construction specifications.
• Coordinate with Minnesota One Call and support emergency response.
