Job summary

Fidelity Manufacturing in Texas is seeking a Stair Weld Supervisor to lead the Stair Weld department, build a high–performing team, and drive safety, quality, and productivity across shifts.

You will oversee daily welding operations, coach welders, implement standardized processes, and partner with engineering to ensure welds meet specifications and customer expectations in a fast‑paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication practices, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, specifications, and manufacturing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily stair welding schedules to support production requirements and customer delivery commitments.
• Ensure proper fit‑up, welding, inspection, and staging activities are completed according to specifications and production requirements.
• Monitor workflow and proactively address bottlenecks, production delays, downtime, and labor inefficiencies.
• Coordinate activities with supporting departments to maintain uninterrupted production flow.
• Assign work and manage daily labor resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor department performance and communicate operational priorities, challenges, and opportunities to leadership.
