Job summary

Likwifier, part of EnSight Solutions, seeks a TIG Welder to join its production team in Kansas City. The role focuses on TIG welding stainless steel, reading blueprints, and finishing parts to high quality.

You will operate shop tools and forklifts, maintain a safe workspace, and contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates have 3+ years of TIG welding experience and can read measurements and specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience TIG welding with stainless steel is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure parts accurately.
• Experience with fabrication and finishing stainless steel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel.
• Read and execute work instructions from blueprints and shop orders.
• Complete basic grinding, deburring, and polishing.
• Inspect materials and finished parts for quality standards.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and shop tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

TIG Welder | Stainless Steel Fabrication Likwifier | Manufacturing | Food Processing Equipment $25-$29/hr Based on Experience Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm Likwifier is hiring a Welder (Class B) to join our growing production team.

With over 100 years of combined experience in the food processing equipment industry, we design and build high-quality, custom solutions for our customers. If you have experience in TIG welding stainless steel and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel
• Read and execute work instructions from blueprints and shop orders
• Complete basic grinding, deburring, and polishing
• Inspect materials and finished parts for quality standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years TIG welding experience (stainless steel preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers)
• Experience with fabrication and finishing stainless steel
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Preferred Skills: Electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, or plumbing experience
• Experience with overhead cranes and shop equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
• Perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
