Job summary

Allegion plc Florida seeks a Welder to produce welded assemblies for commercial stainless steel doors and frames using MIG, TIG and LASER processes. Candidates should handle stainless steel, manage heat to prevent warpage, and read weld symbols.

Role requires 2+ years in manufacturing welding, ability to meet tight tolerances, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. First shift with overtime; competitive hourly wage and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding experience with stainless steel in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in MIG (GMAW) and/or TIG (GTAW), LASER welding on stainless steel.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment per SOP and welding procedure specifications.
• Weld and inspect stainless steel doors/frames in flat, vertical, horizontal and overhead positions.
• Interpret drawings and weld symbols; verify tolerances during assembly.
• Maintain clean, safe workstation and comply with PPE.
• Perform basic NDT tasks as required or document for QA inspection.
• Assist in preventative maintenance of welding equipment.
