Job summary

Helion Group is seeking an experienced Welder to support a cheese and whey manufacturing facility. The role focuses on TIG welding of stainless steel process lines and equipment on the production floor.

The successful candidate will perform continuous seam welds with non-filler rod techniques, set welding parameters, and work in heights or confined spaces while upholding strict safety and quality standards. You will also be expected to pass a hands-on welding test in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding on stainless steel process lines.
• Ability to set welding machine parameters and perform scratch start and lift-arc techniques.
• Must pass hands-on welding test.
• Welding in heights and confined spaces.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel process lines and equipment.
• Complete continuous seam welds using non-filler rod techniques.
• Set welding machine parameters (temperature, wire speed).
• Work in various positions, including heights, confined spaces, and underneath equipment.
• Follow safety and quality standards on the production floor.
• Complete work orders based on production needs.
