Role Description:

The Stainless Steel Polisher is a full-time, on-site role based in Holland, MI, responsible for finishing metal parts to meet quality and aesthetic standards. Day-to-day tasks include polishing and buffing stainless steel components, grinding surfaces to specified finishes, and using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively. The role involves inspecting parts for defects, verifying that completed work meets company and customer specifications, and following established safety and quality procedures. The Polisher will collaborate with supervisors and team members, support continuous improvement efforts, and may assist with training new team members on polishing techniques and best practices.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude.

Preferred:

• 1+ years of stainless steel polishing, metal finishing, or fabrication experience.
• Experience working with TIG welded stainless steel.
• Familiarity with various abrasive grits, polishing compounds, and finishing techniques.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
