Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Welder for shop fabrication in Billings, MT. The ideal candidate will have a strong welding background focused on process piping, be capable of welding to applicable codes, and willing to supervise helpers on long‑term stainless prefab piping projects.

Responsibilities include planning, layout, welding, testing, and repair of piping systems, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of welding experience required.
• Experience in the construction, mining or related industries preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Completing a welding qualification is required.
• Orbital welding training will be provided; prior orbital welding is a plus.
• Must meet all state license requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay‑out, weld, install, test and repair all types of process piping and tubular products per plans and codes.
• Weld test required.
• Supervise and train welder helpers.
• Identify problems and cost-saving measures; take corrective actions.
• Produce quality work meeting specifications and standards.
