Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform stainless steel welding, fitting, tacking, and assembly of passenger rail car bodies and subassemblies using detailed drawings, jigs, fixtures, and advanced welding equipment.
  • Ensure welds meet welding standards, engineering specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.
  • Inspect and repair fabrication defects while maintaining workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Safely operate welding tools and PPE, maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.
  • Complete work orders, track labor hours, and meet production schedules and budgeted targets with minimal supervision.
