Job summary

SPX Flow in Delavan is seeking a Polisher for 2nd shift (3pm – 11pm) with training on 1st shift. Earn a competitive wage with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits starting day one of employment. You will finish stainless-steel parts to 3A standards (15 RMS or better) and may deburr and wash parts as needed.

Primary duties include setting up polishing equipment, inspecting finished work for defects, and recording labor data. Training occurs on 1st shift to ensure proper onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of polishing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Polish to specifications on the work order to produce line instructions on parts/products.
• Set up ID or OD polishing lathes or hand grinding equipment to run a specified task.
• Inspect work for defects in polish areas and repair as necessary to conform to specifications.
• Repair any welded or material flaws detected by welding or inspection.
• Deburr and wash as necessary any threaded or non-rounded machined parts.
• Enter labor time and piece counts for accurate labor recording.
